On Saturday, May 30, the historic river town of Augusta will once again come alive with music, laughter, and the spirit of community as the Missouri Spirit Festival returns from 3:00–7:00 PM. Designed to celebrate the Midwest’s growing spirits industry while honoring Augusta’s rich history, the festival blends premium tastings, local vendors, and family-friendly entertainment into one unforgettable afternoon.

Hosted by the Barrel Room Bourbon Club, the Missouri Spirit Festival was created with a clear mission: to promote Midwest spirit vendors—especially Missouri distilleries—while helping bring festivals back to Augusta in a way that welcomes everyone.

Celebrating the Midwest Spirit Industry

The Missouri Spirit Festival will feature over 40 spirit and craft vendors, showcasing distilleries from across Missouri and the greater Midwest region. Guests will have the opportunity to sample and learn about a wide variety of spirits, connect directly with distillers, and hear the stories behind the brands that are shaping today’s regional spirits scene.

This focus on education, craftsmanship, and connection reflects the festival’s commitment to supporting the spirit industry—not just through tastings, but by highlighting the dedication and heritage behind every bottle.

A Festival for the Whole Family

Unlike many spirit-focused events, the Missouri Spirit Festival is intentionally family friendly. While adults explore tastings and vendor booths, kids will enjoy inflatable games and activities, making this an event where families can spend the afternoon together.

Adding to the fun is a golf simulator experience, complete with interactive competitions like Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin, giving guests another exciting way to test their skills and compete for bragging rights.

Children 16 and under are free, reinforcing the festival’s goal of creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for guests of all ages.

Food, Music, and Entertainment

No festival is complete without great food and entertainment. Guests can enjoy live music throughout the event and choose from four to five food trucks, offering a variety of options to pair perfectly with spirit tastings.

The festival will also feature a Beer & Spirits Tent sponsored by Maui’s Liquor, giving attendees access to a curated selection of beverages in a relaxed, social setting.

Convenient Access and Valet Parking

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, valet parking will be provided by Clayton Valet, allowing guests to focus on enjoying the festival from the moment they arrive.
